Fondamentalmente mantengono le stesse dimensioni, ma i vecchi modelli imperiali sono meno massicci, con arti meno spessi.
Ieri ho giuocato una schermaglia con la banda imperiale, i villici orchi e la la cabala di graciale:

Ho acquisito alcuni modelli imperiali risalenti al 1984 (11 modelli per un totale di 6,30 euro, non male).
Non sono particolarmente intriganti (in origine credo fossero modelli storici, poi adattati all'ambientazione di WHFB), ma saranno utili per giocare alcuni scenari con milizie imperiali ;-)

Ho dipinto un guerriero del caos (pre slotta C01 chaos fighter) risalente al 1983. ispirandomi allo schema di pittura dello stesso modello presente nel diorama illustrato nel manuale base di WHFB terza edizione, pagina 180-181 realizzato da John Blanche.

Avevo rinunziato, poichè non lo trovavo nei cataloghi, poi ho ricordato di aver notato di sfuggita il tuo modello in vendita, l'ho dunque riconosciuto e quindi acquisito immediatamente.
E' un modello di orchetto prodotto dalla citadel per D&D presente in un set: BDD2 Dungeon Monsters Boxed Set

"Oldhammer" raccoglie tutti i prodotti citadel risalenti all'epoca d'oro (1979-1991) della GW. Hero Quest è uno di questi prodotti, ed è forse uno dei più importanti poichè divenne noto al di fuori della cerchia ristretta dei giocatori di wargames.
Un evento oldhammer ben organizzato dovrebbe risultare simile a questi organizzati dalla Wargames Foundry:

Traendo ispirazione dalla copertina del manuale di Warhammer terza edizione, ho dipinto un paio di goblin mutanti del caos (1984).

The Gargoyle is finally defeated, Harleen and Harley Quinn run toward the treasures but it's too late.
Harley Quinn: "That damn piece of stone! We lost too much time with him and now we could not plunder this dungeon... " :x
The Joker and Jolly win the treasure minor plot point.
The elf is busy again with the mummy.
Joker: "Good, these coffers seem inviting! What?! They are empty! I don't like this joke!" :evil:
Krana finally convert the dwarf, but the new ally is useless now.
Krana: "At least this stubborn squat decided to join us!"
Daimon defeat a Fimir, while Rajura is busy with an orc.
Kayura is down after a unlucky fight with the Chaos Warrior and the major plot point is lost. The two Chaos Warriors are down too.
Kayura: "Forgive me Inquisitor, I disappointed you..."
Chaos Sorcerer: "I'm free again! You have lost, witchhunter!" :D
Arago: "Just for now... but soon I will complete my duty, anyway..."

4 TURN
Daimon defeat and KO the Chaos warrior.
Daimon: "Now you will join your chaos gods... in hell..."
Kayura still fight with a chaos warrior, the inquisitor join the fight with the other chaos warrior. However the fight is useless.
Kayura: "These evil minions are determined to rescue their leader..."
Arago: "Their determination is not stronger than our!"
Rajura shoot and KO a goblin, the orc charge him but falls in the trap.
Rajura: "Stupid ork!" :iconbiggrin:
Krana try to convert again the dwarf but fail.
The Joker and Jolly run for the treasures.
Joker: "Ah, finally! the prize is here!" :iconbiggrin:
The elf is down again after the fight with the mummy.

Chaos Dwarf: "I hate these disgusting greenskin!" :-(
Harley Quinn, Harleen and Dee Dee shoot to the Gargoyle, but he survive and charge Dee Dee.
Dee Dee: "Help me! The big guy is beating me!" :pale:

Kayura win the major plot point Chaos Sorcerer. The chaos warriors try to stop her but fail. One is down.
Kayura: "Your reign of terror is ended, evil minion of chaos..."
Chaos Sorcerer: "Fool, your weak mind will never understand the real power of chaos..."
The fight between Daimon and the Chaos Warrior is useless.
Chaos Warrior: "You will pay for your betrayal! The Chaos Gods will punis you!" :x
Daimon: "Now I serve a greater purpouse... you could be saved too, brother..."
Krana and the Sheriff try to convert the dwarf, but fail again.
Krana: "You are right, Natalia... this squat is really stubborn!"
Dwarf: "I'm not a squat! What is a squat?" :-(
The chaos warrior is defeated and KO by the chaos dwarf.
Chaos Dwarf: "I'm sorry brother, but you were hindering my quest..."
The elf join the Jokerz.
Elf: "Thank you, strangers... I will join you in this quest, now"
Dee Dee is defeated and KO by an orc.
Dee Dee: "Defeated by a ugly and smelly feral ork! What a shame!" :-(
The Barbarian is defeated again by the Gargoyle and this time is KO too.
Dee Dee Sister: "what a disappointment! the big sweaty handsome is yet defeated..." :-(
The Joker and Jolly run toward the rooms with treasures.
Joker: "Run fast my little friend, I'm sure some treasures are waiting us" :iconbiggrin:

The Inquisitor and his followers run in the dungeon.
Arago: "Be careful, soon we could find some enemies or traps..."
The Joker and his gang run. Harley Quinn win the barbarian bystander and he join the gang.
Harley Quinn: "Hi, biiig boy, Do you want to join our gang? We could share the treasures inside the dungeon and much moooore..." ;-)
Barbarian: "You are a weird woman, but I accept your offer."
2 TURN
Daimon defeat the Chaos Warrior in a fight, but he is only down.
The Sheriff try to winn the dwarf bystander, but fail.
Dwarf: "No, I will not join your group, I will continue my quest alone."
Sheriff: "Stubborn as all the squats!"
The Joker open the closed door of the grimoire room, the jolly enter in the room but the major plot point is not there.
Jolly: "The room is empty! There are only some skeletons... and they are beginning to move!" :?
Dee Dee meet an hostile dark elf child bystander.
Dee Dee: "Hey little blue child, I've not time to play with you!"
Harleen and Dee Dee shoot to the Gargoyle and the Barbarian charge him.
However the shots are useless and the barbarian is down too.
Harleen: "I suppose it will be a long fight" :-(

La scorsa settimana ho giuocato l'ottavo scenario della campagna di ambientazione Rogue Trader e con regolamento "Pulp Alley", in tale occasione abbiamo giuocato nelle plance di heroquest e con le miniature HQ che avevo dipinto nel 2009 (decisamente meno elaborate rispetto ai miei standard attuali ;-) )
Come mia abitudine aggiornerò il resoconto includendo i 6 turni di gioco ad ogni nuova replica. (il resoconto è lungo)
Background:
The Inquisitor was upset, the Necromancer lied to him.
There were not ruins of any temple of Morr in this place, just a suspicious dungeon inside a small mountain.
Sure many dangers were waiting them inside this labyrinth.
However they have no choice, they should try to venture inside and hope to finally find the truth about the hidden place of the Key of Graciale.
He felt that this was the right place to find what he was looking... the Key of Gracaile must really hidden in the ruins of a Morr Temple, but where?
Maybe the answer will be found inside the dungeon...
Arago: "My loyal companions... I know this is not the place we were looking, but despite the lies of the necromancer, I suspect this dungeon could be still useful for our quest...
Then we will venture inside, and anyone will dare to fight us will meet is own fate..."
meanwhile, inside the dungeon, in a darker room, sat the Chaos Sorcerer...
Chaos Sorcerer: "Then the murderers of my old friend are finally arrived... Fine, they will perish inside my dungeon... and the same doom will meet the fool adventurers that came before them... The Necromancer will be avenged, and I alone will conquest the Key of Graciale!"
Overview of the board:
Major Plot point: Chaos Sorcerer (hostile bystander) or Grimoire
Special Rules: when a character will enter in one of these rooms, he will roll a six die, with a 4+ he has find the major ploint point and could try to win it.
Skeletons: They will activate and attack the character that will enter in the room.
Perilious area Pitfalls: They will be active when a character try to open the closed doors (challenge)
The other normal closed door need an action to be opened.

Forse dovrei, ma in rete vi sono numerose guide più affidabili ed esaustive, inoltre sono pigro ;)
Un ulteriore Guerriero del Caos si unisce alla banda di Slaanesh.

La banda di amazzoni necessitava di alcuni nuovi seguaci, percui ho dipinto un modello pre slotta c01 fighter (warrior maiden) e aggiunto una medusa che avevo già dipinto.
